Manage Dashboard and Settings in Time Captis

As a Subscriber, you can add and set audio and visual notifications to get alert about upcoming events on your calendar using the Time Captis. In addition, you can select your Time Settings, PDF Settings and can customize what information you would like to view on the Dashboard. Refer to the detailed instructions in the step by step guide below.



1. Sign in to your TimeCaptis Account

2. Click on the ‘Settings‘ menu as shown below.

3. Upon doing so, you shall land on a page similar to the one you see below. Here, on the top of the page, you can find a section called ‘Visual Alert‘ that lists all the available image alerts. You can choose any of the images by clicking on the radio button as appearing against each image as shown below. While adding an event in your Calendar, when you choose to get notified, the chosen image will appear as the visual alert.

4. To add a custom Visual Alert, click on the ‘Choose File‘ button under the ‘Visual Alert‘ and choose the image file. Then click on the ‘Submit‘ button as shown below.

5. Upon doing so, you shall find that the image file that you just added has been listed under the ‘Uploaded/Selected Image for Visual Alert‘ section as shown below.

6. While adding an upcoming event in your Calendar, when you choose to get notified, the said image will appear as the visual alert as shown below.

7. Similarly in the Audio Alert section, you can find a list of all available Audio Alerts. To add a custom Audio Alert, click on the ‘Choose File‘ button under the ‘Audio Alert‘ and choose the audio file. Then click on the ‘Submit‘ button as shown below. Upon doing so, you shall find that the audio file that you just added has been listed under the ‘Uploaded/Selected MP3 for Audio Alert‘ section. Now, while adding an upcoming event in your Calendar, when you choose to get notified, the said audio will appear as the audio alert.

8. The settings to select the Time Zone and the Time Format is available under the 'Time Settings' section in the page. Select the appropriate Time Zone and the Time Format from their respective dropdowns and click on the Submit button to save the changes as shown below.

9. You can also add different activities for which you would like to track spent time for your Clients using the Time Captis. The 'Work Drop Menu Configuration' section, displays the list of predefined activities. To add more activities, click the 'Add' button. Upon doing so, a pop-up window ‘Add Menu’ shall appear. Enter the name of the activity in the ‘Menu Name’ textbox and click the ‘Submit’ button as shown below.

10. You can now see that the activity that you added has been listed the ‘Work Drop Menu Configuration’ section as shown below.

11. Now, when you go to the ‘Capture Time’ screen for any of your Clients, you can see that the activity that you added has been listed under the ‘Work’ dropmenu as shown below.

12. Under the PDF Settings section, you can upload your logo, name, address, email address, website and telephone details as shown below. The data entered here will appear in the Header section of all your PDF files including your invoices and reports.

14. In the Dashboard Settings section, you can choose what information you would like to view on the Dashboard, by clicking on the available checkboxes and then clicking on the 'Submit' button as shown below.
